Like other Cafe Neros, this location is a great spot to relax, and the pastries are delicious. However, I've noticed that it's often under-staffed. On Sundays, I've experienced waits of 10-15 minutes just to get a cup of coffee. With only two people working behind the counter, they definitely need to hire more staff.
Stopped by on Saturday afternoon, all tables were taken by people with laptops, who apparently just come there to sit for hours to work/study and use their wifi. Unfortunately, felt like in a student center. Left without getting a place to sit and grab coffee with food.
The staff here is incredible! The barista recalled that I usually order my drinks with lactose-free milk due to my intolerance. When I forgot to request it, they kindly asked if I still wanted it and saved me from a stomach upset.
They have scaled back their vegan options recently, but they still have their vegan breakfast sandwich! They also have a vegan tart that's not my favorite but could be someone's! Partner and I go at least once a week. Réservez une table maintenant
I ordered an iced coffee, but it had a taste reminiscent of an old refrigerator. The sandwiches are also stale unless they're heated up.
