We had an hour to kill and wait to look at our hotel when we found this little jewel. We visited Missouri. I'm from Louisiana, so I tend to miss good southern seafood. I really wanted some taste while we were in the south. This place was not disappointed. My husband was so impressed that he wanted to eat there before we left. (We don't, but not because he didn't want to! We had enough food from our late lunch that we just finished our left overs in our hotel room. I'm in town for the week and had a desire for seafood. I found this place and thought I would try. I came about 1.5 hours in front of the neighborhood and was served pretty fast. I tried the Blue Crab Claws for an appetizer. It was great. From there I have the selection of 2 items combo meal. So I had the grouper, alligator engravings, the Koleslawe and the chicken and sausage rubber. Ah....excuse me while I say the F word to describe the food... FANTASTIC! We went there for their crayfish offer of 15.99 for 3 pounds and we were NOT disappointed. The crayfish was amazing and fresh. The spices were amazing. We ordered also a stuffed Grouper and it was amazing, so tender and yummy. The crab legs were fantastic, extremely fresh and amazing with the butter sauce. Their boiled shrimp was great too specially when you dip it in that butter. Our server was very tentative and sweet. Smiling all the time and gave us everything we need and more. Greatly recommend.

Cajun Seafood House was and continues to be one of my favorite local Cajun restaurants. The food is consistent and inexpensive. You have full bar with a nice beer and wine selection, but you would miss if you did not order from their classic Louisiana cocktail menu. The atmosphere is more of a romantic culinary experience with a touch of Louisiana Flare. Nothing above the top or sticky like a lot of the other Cajun restaurants I have inaugurated.

On Saturday, my wife and daughter will stop to brunch. They called me and told me about the wonderful time we passed and the amazing food. Your server Caleb was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I told him to bring me something back. I have the grilled grouper with sautéed spinach and gumbo with bread pudding for dessert. my meal was amazing that I enjoyed it and I? ll come back
