This was my first and last visit to this location. The Italian Market Deli did not have alot of meat options but I still decided to wait and ask if they had a certain type of meat I was looking for since I had driven 30 mins to this place . I was looking for guanciale. Even if they didn 't have it, I was looking forward to maybe purchasing other items they did have. My plan was immediately changed when I experienced the worst customer service ever. It was not busy at this counter. The first person behind the counter didn 't know what I was asking for but said the other guy was about to come out from the back. No problem. The second guy grey hair with glasses ...maybe he was the manager ? ......
I have been waiting for years, love this place, their cakes are great, my sister had made her high-time cake here, any birthday cake we get from here, all the girls are super nice and helpful we decided to try their pizza today, I was probably 10 minutes at the theke, while the pizza type went back and totally ignored me to go with money and cards but then only a few minutes later he called me and gave me something in a form of a calzone that consisted of raw teig and mozzarella cheese that could not even melt, no ricotta cheese inside, instead he added pizza sauce from any reason, but if that’s how they do it, but no ricotta the pizza type disappeared immediately after eating and I left it...
Delicious food and exceptional service! This restaurant has become a go-to for all of our family functions- so I brought my in-laws from out of town tonight as well. They all left extremely happy. There was a slight misunderstanding about our reservation, but Calandra's went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Our server Freddy was also incredibly attentive and kind. I'm always impressed when a restaurant is so bustling but the server is still able to make you feel so well taken care of. Thanks for being part of another great family memory Calandras!
we love to come to the kalandra Italian village because it is the most amazing food, drinks and it is a great place to sit back and come with them friends and family together. me and my friend come in the rule all couple weeks to have a girl night where we eat and have an amazing drinks and alway save space for the delicious dessert. we love when the outdoor terrace is open where we sit and chat next to the heating and listen to the amazing music. they can never go wrong here because they have everything they want, and if they don't make it happen Réservez une table maintenant
Many many years ago I worked here early in the morning and loved my time working here, I would make daily fresh bread, pastry, and fill up the bakery case! Love to see that this business is doing well. Best of luck, I was on my way to make wedding cakes and had to work away from a wonderful promotion opportunity.
