Calia was everything that it promised; a light filled and relaxing decor with little noise from fellow diners so acoustics has clearly been attended to in the fit out of the restaurant. The menu was extensive and well priced and the meals were delicious in all ways; beautifully presented, flavourful and authentically Japanese. Excellent customer service and a visit to the emporium downstairs made Father's Day a day to remember. Shall return very soon to Calia and strongly recommend.
Good quality Japanese food! The starters were tasty.. had the pork which was crispy and juicy, truffle fries were nice, miso cauliflower I would give a miss and my favourite was the beef tataki. I hap mapo tofu beef bowl for main, spicy and flavourful and a large serve. I was not a fan of the iced matcha latte as quite bitter. The hot matcha latte my friend got was cute. Overall a nice little spot for Japanese food.
No ambiance, very stark lights and furniture, poor service and quality of the food poor. Would not recommend it
