California Fish Grill

I goto the one in cerritos and service over there is always exceptional, here the food was horribly dry! I always order thru uber eats and check the box for utensil but today i didn't get any utensils for my order thats why its a 3 star. And they put very little sauce so when it arrives the fish is so dry and this place over cooks the salmon so its extra dry. I would definitely pick cerritos location over this one any day. Ambiance of the restaurant I cant tell because i got it delivered here but maybe one day ill give it another chance and check it out myself instead of getting it delivered to see if they cook it better when I eat at the location myself. Love the menu, great selections to choose from with many healthy options. It is pricey though for a walk up and order lunch. Up charge for cauliflower rice almost $3 each along with 3 small sides to share and one soft drink rang up at $61 for two people. We will definitely eat here again but will pass on the sides to keep the tab a more reasonable casual lunch total. I had the Cajun barramundi with cauliflower rice and kale slaw very delicious. My wife had the chimichurri salmon with zucchini and a side salad; which she enjoyed. Side of asparagus was good but not worth the charge but the grilled shrimp skewers were a good add on and very tasty.

I really enjoyed my salmon plate from here. I got it with half Cajun/half garlic butter and it was delicious. I also got it with Brussel sprouts which were also very yuMmy. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and said it was very dry, I wouldn't recommend the chicken. But I will definitely be back for the salmon and brusssels!
