Staying in a nearby hotel, and evening being since and warm, made me feel like I wanted to walk a bit to find something healthy, delicious but also not overpriced to eat. Google reviews is what I normally use and Calogero’s caught my eye as they had pretty high score already and were open until 10pm. It was already past 8:15pm so I decided to give it a try. Nice people, very friendly, good food and quick service made me feel they deserve 5 stars. If you are looking for an extraordinary experience, this is not the place but it hits all points when it comes to good food in a cozy atmosphere. the food was above expectations. my mushroom risotto was one of the best risottos I had for a long time. service was fast and friendly and attentive. that was my first time to eat here. I recently have a braut shower for my daughter at calogero and that, from the food, worth, service, atmosphere and management was also top notch. all guests have carved about it. can't wait to go to dinner again.
First time at this restaurant and was not disappointed. Our party of 7 was seated promptly and the service was attentive all night. Salads were fresh and crisp, Manhattan chowder was tasty and the seafood fra diavolo was delicious. All the portions were plentiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals!
