We arrived in Borth looking for lunch before going to the beach and found limited options for restaurants or pub food. We were directed to a "bar and grill" at a caravan park, which didn't seem promising at first. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the well-advertised place with new signage and a spacious car park. The menu was exactly what you would expect from a good bar and grill. Nice place but the service and the food was lacking. For transparency my wife and I were ‘comped’ a round of drinks because of the 1hr 20mins wait for service after ordering. The bar and grille was reasonably busy but was over its ‘peak’ when we arrived. Staff were really nice and we had a drink before ordering a meal. We did not receive our order for a further 80 mins ; had more drinks whilst waiting; listened to another couple going through the same experience; spoke to staff who comped us a drink apologising that there were only three staff and the manager was ‘covering from Stafford’, and then the food arrived. I would not recommend going to this restaurant if you are hungry. We stayed on the premises for a week-long holiday, just like we did last year, and it was fantastic then. However, we tried the restaurant for dinner twice this year and both times we waited over 2 hours for our food. There were no apologies, no customer service, no communication from the staff, and no explanation as to why the wait was so long. We asked for the manager to contact us as there was none on duty, left our number, but never received a call. The service was awful.
Fantastic food tonight and everywhere was decorated for Halloween which looked great for the kids. Ordered 6 meals and there was a really good selection of meals plus an amazing new Gluten Free menu. I highly recommend the Loaded Burger with Cheese and Bacon, Gluten Free Chips and Slaw. I wasn’t disappointed, the burger itself was very tasty. I will be going back to try the Gluten Free Pizza very soon. Thank you Cambrian Coast!

Meal arrived beautifully presented and vegetables were cooked well. But the main event was lamb and it was so disappointing incredibly thinly sliced, very dry and overcooked. Little taste. You can see from the photos. I did ask the server to tell the chef but no feedback. Will not return sadly. On aside not everyone likes heavy metal I do) but played a little too loudly at lunch is appropriate for a relaxing Sunday lunch !
We visited a dog-friendly restaurant that was incredibly welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast lunch with roast lamb, cauliflower, and broccoli cheese. The meal was plentiful and included a wide variety of perfectly cooked vegetables. It was great value at £18 per person. The waiting staff were friendly, polite, and pleasant.
This place used to be amazing before it changed management, since then it's all been about money. The prices have gone way up and the quality is in the mud. How that staff stay smiling with how they are treated I have no idea.
Food and drinks exceptional, never disappoints. Good for an evening out playing pool or darts. Good selection of food and drink. Staff friendly and accommodating

Excellent food and drink, friendly and helpful staff. Two for one mid week offer means cheap meal. Highly recommend
