Cambridge Wine Merchants

If you’re feeling like some good French food in the centre of Cambridge, then Cote is a cozy and lovely place to come for a meal. We booked through an online booking system which was very easy to use but the restaurant was not quite empty at the time we chose ie 20:00 Service was lovely, food was very good and enjoyed by all. The reason I’ve not given this a 5 start rating is as follows: 1. Although the pork belly was totally delicious, I found the portion really small. (Not unusual for French food though) 2. We were a party of 5 and three of the meals we requested were not available on the night (very frustrating). Unfortunately, we were only told this after we had spent about 15 minutes deciding what we were going to eat. 3. The menu was a bit sparse for choice and leaned heavily to seafood but NO ESCARGOT??? This is unforgivable Having said all of that, I’d go back for sure!

I'm sure like the other locations of this sank chain they have a great offering of wines to buy and take home, however if you are attempting to have a drink

Exciting menu and execution! Enjoyed the look and taste of the Breton fish stew. A little too salty for my palate but otherwise a very enjoyable meal.

This is such a gorgeous wine shop The walls are lined with such an amazing array of wines from around the world.

It is a great shopThey offer wine, champagne (cold and room temperature), as well as liquor.
