My husband ordered the crab gumbo soup for me and it was not a piece of crab meat in it! I had to go to Giant and purchase crab meat to put in my soup. It was pretty much a spicy vegetable soup, pretty good, Just needed the crab meat. The food didn’t taste as good as it did 8 years ago, so bummed out because I use to literally go here every while I was at Montgomery College.
I buy blue crabs at least 2-3 a month. This was my first time buying from Cameron's Seafood as I usually go with TheCrabPlace. I got a dozen of the Colossal crabs, and I could tell immediately they were shipped frozen. I had to throw away two of the crabs that had a majority of their top missing. The meat inside became inedible once reheated.
I bought a bushel of crabs on 9/3 and the box was not full. A bushel of crabs isn 't a bushel anymore and now at this place a box isn 't a box. For the price being charged, in my opinion it should be full. I would check before leaving the store. In the future I will look elsewhere for crabs.
The jumbo fried shrimp I got had no seasoning on it and a couple of pieces has that iodine taste, this isn 't the first time I 've received shrimp with that unpleasant taste. Overall I think that Cameron 's is a good seafood place but my experience yesterday wasn 't the best Réservez une table maintenant
I was very excited to try Cameron’s but was disappointed. I ordered the fried snapper and it was tough and bland. I had to add seasoning to the fish and it still was nasty. I won’t be returning.
My stop when I want to treat myself to some delicious Maryland Spiced Shrimp! Never been disappointed. The prices are, in my opinion, on the higher side. However, seafood is usually fresh.
Prices are reasonable depending on the time of year and if it's a holiday. Thus IA the first time I got crabs and some of them were over cooked mushy) but other then that they were good
Came for Crabs, got the Spiced Shrimp too. Crabs were good, nothing mushy or too light. Shrimp was excellent. I'll be back. Réservez une table maintenant
