The name is not easily pronouncable (Gung Turh) but worth trying! This gorgeous restaurant is run by a husband and wife team who were both raised in the restaurant trade by Vietnamese parents and they certainly know what they are doing. Ordered $90 worth of take away on Saturday night expecting great things....oh dear were we in for a nasty surprise!After being told it would be ready to pick up in half an hour we arrived to be asked to pay for the food, then informed they had not even started to cook it!!We decided to have a drink at the bar and they discounted the price of the drinks ( a couple of $$). I have dined at Can Tho a number of times with my partner and with friends , I can honestly say I have not been disappointed on any occasion. The resturant has an easy going modern feel with its dark walls, low lighting and its trendy bar area . Can Tho could easily be an intimate hot spot bar / resturant in a big city. The food is full of fab flavours , meals well sized ( you wont go home hungry) and wonderfully presented , cant forget the cocktails ! Absolutely amazing food, friendly with fast and efficient service. Food is full of flavour and they offer an extensive menu with a wide selection of food. Fantastic cocktail menu and drinks list available. Outdoor dining sheltered from the wind is available with heaters and outdoor blankets. Staff make this place great for dining especially with family and friends. Cosy tables available inside with a cool, funky atmosphere. In the northern end of the coast its a must when visiting runaway bay.

We heard about this place off the Urban list, and called for a booking at 5.30 on a Saturday night. We could only sit at the bar, fine with us... It is a supper busy little hide away, the service was great and we got the pho, yummy, it was great, but needed more chilli, and more lime juice, but we got that sorted. Had a great glass of red too. This is the best Pho I have had on the coast. Well done, shame it is not open on a Sunday lunch....
Friendly restaurant where you can eat inside or on the terrace The food was excellent, the service was quick, a little too insistent for my taste to remove the dishes ... It is advisable to reserve it is often full
The bean sprouts on the warm salads were fresh. Service was very good. Additional fresh chilli was given with a smile. Can get rather noisy when full so go early if you prefer a quieter meal.
We had a great time, food was really nice and the atmosphere was buzzing. Service could have been a little better. Overall experience was good though.

You only need to know that the food is fantastic! Fresh!! Tasty! Adventurous! Amazing!! Seats should have backs though. And you have to book!!!
