Candela Restaurant Wine Bar Tapas

This is a fabulous place to eat. I ate. Here a few years ago and was looking forward to octopus which is no longer on the menu so Chef created a special dish for me with calamari,potatoes,garlic and garbanzo beans in a wonderful gravy that was amazing. The food, the atmosphere, it all adds up to a truly unique and remarkable dining experience at a very affordable price!

Not bad. Not great, either. Paella rice was undercooked. Had to ask for serving utensils . Had to ask for another glass of wine. Special mushroom, Serrano ham, and shrimp dish was excellent, as were the garbanzo beans. Maybe stick to the tapas if there is a return visit?

This was an absolutely amazing find! I think we ate everything on the menu. It was so great. The entire staff was great. Wish I took more pictures but we were too busy eating. Go, this is the best kept secret .

Owner / Chef very kind and food was great! The price of the year is the house wine at the liter, very good for a table wine at this price, especially during the happy hour.

The best part was the bread and cod croquettes. Not authentic Spanish. Paella and caldoso were salty (rice was not cooked properly, it was hard). Service was good.
