Cannonball Restaurant Bar

we found this bar while we were looking for a place to get a quick drink before dinner in the week that leads to christmas. it is easy to remove from the lively royal mile so that we were happy enough to take a place. overall the drink selection was good and the staff was polite and attentive. we have not managed to have dinner here since it was overbooked, but there were groups of people coming and going. it looks like a really nice restaurant, so we will try defo next time we visit edinburgh.

a highlight of our new year trip to edinburgh. personal wonderful, ambiente perfect and eating was fantastic. only 4 stars give because the dessert was cold, especially in the middle guess a reheat job, although I was informed that it had been made by scratch. but everything else was so wonderful. highly recommended.

Neat location (although the hill to get to it was quite a hike). Everything we ate was good, but the soup was absolutely spectacular. The chocolate cannonball dessert was also very good, and appropriately cannonball shaped.

that was amazing and we are the cocktails. we spend the afternoon there and it wasn't full at all. I won't give it 5 stars just because they didn't have the most interesting things on the menu that was quite contempt.

book the tasting menu together with the paired drinks for my friend birthday. the staff was great and eating was delicious. that was a great way to finish our last night in edinburgh!
