I am not usually one to write negative reviews, but I am so disappointed with what I paid for at this restaurant. I ordered a chicken chow mein, salt and chilli chips, and a portion of curry sauce for a total of £16. The quality of the food was extremely poor. The chips were wet, soggy, and flavorless, and the chicken chow mein, which cost around £8, had more mushrooms than chicken. The few pieces of chicken that were present were minuscule. This experience was disgraceful, and I have had better meals at this restaurant before. I expect better.
Really disappointed. The Canton was always a favourite of ours. This time we did an online order to be collected at 1830. Son went to collect and there were people who’d been waiting over an hour for their orders. Restaurant was busy and takeaway was too. When he eventually got our order, 45 minutes later, and brought it home, my meal had to go in the microwave and the salt on two of the meals completely spoiled them. Both meals went in the bin. Put us right off.
Food was nice however could have been presented better. The drinks order was completely wrong which is fine but we were made to feel it was our fault. We had no privacy as the lady who was serving was just standing staring at us And as soon as we put our cutlery down to take a drink she was over to take our plates away, even though we hadn't finished our meal. Lovely meal. Roasting kung po chicken was delicious, as was the prawn toast, fried rice and salt pepper chips (even if a little too much cinnamon) however the chicken satay starter was disappointing. I wouldn’t really call it satay as it doesn’t look or really taste peanutty. All came roasting hot so overall very impressed. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner

I highly recommend this restaurant with excellent staff and delicious food. The dining experience was superb with prices ranging from £10–£20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
