However we were so delighted to hear that Mary and Eve, formally of Fusion Gourock, have now joined the exchange team!!! Fusion was our favourite Gourock restaurant and the food was alway incredible. The new updated Exchange menu has merged both restaurants menus together and it’s fantastic! As always the staff in the exchange are always fabulous and we can never fault the service. If you’ve never been or haven’t been in a long time, I highly recommend going and trying their new menu. This restaurant was a chance discovery. It is sited away from the center of Greenock on a quiet street. The restaurant was quite busy with parties and families and I was not expecting the exceptional standard of the food and service. The young chef produced an outstanding meal. Starter of Scallops served with Black pudding, cooked to perfection. Followed by a main course of sliced rare fillet of beef with spinach patmentier potatoes and red wine jus. This was outstanding, the sirloin was treated and cooked to perfection. The Chef, DylanTawse, a 23 year old, provided one of the best meals I have ever eaten, worthy of 5 stars in any top restaurant. I expect to hear of him again.
We come here fairly often and it never disappoints. This is without a doubt the best place in Inverclyde for a meal and drinks. The portion sizes are great value for money and the cocktails are sublime very reasonably priced: roughly £6/7 compared to £9/10 elsewhere and Glasgow. Special mention goes to Clyde, who was our waiter on this occasion. He took excellent care of us in the wine bar and was very helpful and polite.
Hadn’t been in here for years so decided to return. It’s changed a bit inside and looks much nicer. Good decor. My son got a lovely pizza and I got a calzone. One of my toppings was missing so they eventually brought it out for me to “stuff” inside which greatly improved it. Very enjoyable. The service was good. They have an extensive drinks menu too. I will be back.

Came here for the 1st time on Saturday night. The restaurant was lovely, the menu had a great selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had mains and dessert and everyone's food was delicious. Highly recommend going here for food and also looked a nice place to come for drinks l. Will dedo be back.
We recently enjoyed a family meal for 7 at The Exchange. Excellent choice of food at competitive prices, decent sized portions and pleasant attentive staff. Certainly worth checking out if you’re in the Greenock area. Looking forward to our next visit.
We had lunch here twice during a recent visit to the area, it had been a few years since we were there. We were not disappointed, just the beef in the beef strogonoff was a little tough. The sweets were delicious, cheesecake and chocolate orange.
Honestly the best team tonight Demi Emily and Chloe not been for several weeks Demi knew drinks order as as we came in .. food amazing think you should add pate back to starters .. service exceptional..if you’ve not tried definitely come along

A great find. Had the Teriyaki salmon with noodles, friends had the Thai beef. Superb on both counts. Very reasonably priced, service was first class and good atmosphere. Will certainly be back.
The place was very busy. Seated quickly and got our drinks. There were 4 of us. All our meals were delicious . We all left happy and will be returning again soon.
