Cap Estel is a little slice of heaven on Earth. Even prior to arrival, Enodie in reception was intuitive and very accommodating with our later than anticipated arrival. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, polite and very accommodating. Dinner at Le Table of Patrick Raingeard was exquisite. The pace was well timed, the food was simply beautiful, a truly a piece of art. Having some of the best restaraunts available to us in our hometown, we have come to expect the best and this restaurant did not disappoint. Cet endroit vit jusqu'à et dépasse en fait la beauté des images que vous voyez. Parfois, la photographie des hôtels fait qu'il ressemble « plus qu'il est » mais vous ne serez PAS déçu. Peut-être la chose unique de cet hôtel (en dépit de son emplacement magnifique et ses vues et son histoire particulière) est le terrain, les zones de piscine, etc sont énormes par rapport à la petite quantité de chambres d'hôtes (il n'y a que 28 chambres). Les terrains sont absolument incroyables tant de endroits pour profiter de la vue merveilleuse, prendre un repas ou boire un verre. A really private and hidden place. It has 1 Michelin star if I’m not mistaken. The hotel it’s beautiful and their terrace it’s just...breathtaking . It feels like the backyard are of a huge mansion. A for their valet parking. for live music. I went to Le Ficus which was on the terrace , the food was alright ... but I must admit that the portions were tiny , prices really high AND POOR SERVICE , really poor. Their waiters had this attitude towards us when we asked for a glass of wine instead of a bottle of wine because we were driving. The waitress poured us a tiny amount of wine and made a face when she left. Besides this they didn’t even bother to give us the menus after waiting like 15 min...
We didn’t stay here but decided to pop in for lunch. The hotel itself is beautiful and the views grounds were outstanding. The restaurant is in the garden, sadly not looking out to sea. The food was nice not amazing but was tasty. However, the meal was ruined by a plague of wasps, at one point there were six hovering around the table. When the waitress eventually noticed the flailing and napkin wafting she brought a pot of burning coffee, which did little. We moved inside and noticed that there were no insect traps, no major deterrents, and even the kitchen staff were being harassed by wasps. If I were staying here, paying the room prices, and eating here regularly, I would be hugely disappo...
Nous sommes restés 6 nuits dans un endroit que je ne peux que décrire comme un paradis. Nous avons mangé 3 fois au Ficus et une fois au Restaurant. Salah, le directeur du Ficus, s'est très bien occupé de nous, connaissait notre nom, et nous a guidé à travers un menu excellent. Nous avons également goûté au buffet du dimanche, frais, croustillant et un plaisir pour les yeux. Le poisson et la viande du barbecue étaient préparés à la perfection. L'autre restaurant au Cap Estel est étoilé au Michelin et le dîner sous la direction du chef Patrick a été une expérience inoubliable. De l'amuse-bouche au dessert, tout était présenté et préparé à la perfection.
J'ai été invité pour mon dîner d'anniversaire au restaurant du Cap Estel. Le restaurant principal était complet mais plusieurs tables étaient vides. Nous avons été assis près de la piscine, assez romantique mais tellement sombre que nous ne pouvions pas voir ce qui était dans notre assiette. J'ai pris la salade César qui contenait 50 pour cent de grosses lanières de bacon gluant. Le poulet était dur et sans goût et la nuit après le dîner j'ai eu des maux d'estomac. Le service était très médiocre. Dans l'ensemble, une grande déception et je ne dînerai certainement plus jamais là-bas.
Visité ici en été 2020 et est resté dans la section La mer de l'hôtel surplombant la plage privée Cap et la baie de Cap d'Ail. Chaque chambre est meublée dans le style d'une cabine de bord de mer. Nous étions très heureux d'avoir découvert une propriété où nous pourrions passer quelques-uns de nos étés, cependant la manipulation de la réservation était très étrange et comment elle a été résolue n'a pas laissé un bon goût. Sur cette base, nous ne retournerions pas.
J'ai réservé cet restaurant pour les 30 ans de mon mari en surprise, mais j'ai envoyé un email pour le leur dire. J'étais déçue qu'il n'y avait rien de spécial pour lui (ils n'ont même pas souhaité un joyeux anniversaire). Nous avons pris le menu dégustation de 7 plats qui était de très haute qualité et très bon. Le personnel du bar de l'hôtel était plus sympathique que celui du restaurant.
Until nów it has been the Best restaurant I have ever been. Fantastic Service with brillient food. It is more like a venue then just a meal. You really enjoy the time spent there. From small amish bush till desert it is like the art. Everything beautiful and so tasty.
