Capital Kebab House

We were going to the theatre nearby and this restaurant/takeaway was buzzing, so we tried their Lamb Shish. The back of the restaurant looked like an ordinary café. The service was polite, and the salad was pleasant, but the kebab was disappointing; the meat was tough and too salty. Only one staff was serving, and a couple who came 15 minutes after us received a slow service and was panicking if they might miss the show. When we were leaving, their food arrived and they were not pleased.

Found this place close to the Young Vic when we needed a quick meal aftera show. They are open much later than anywhere else. The prices to eat in are higher than take away and the seated area is quite basic but the staff are nice and the food was authentic and tasty and the portion size good. The menu is extensive so it was easy to find what we wanted. We will go back and I would recommend.

Third visit now and great every time. Fab choices on the menu and the food is amazing. Huge salads and generous portions of meat and rice. Full of flavour and so tender. Complimentary hummus was a nice touch. Always going to return as it’s so good.

Drinks were missing from the order. I called the restaurant and the guy was useless. Didn't send out the missing items. This is the third time I've had things missing and they just don't care. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Great food, very generous portions and the meat quality was excellent. Had the chicken/lamb diner mix which came with loads of warm pitta bread, salad, dips choice of rice/bulgar wheat or chips.

The no tipping society of UK has given poor service at most places. Here, exceptional service, food flavors are popping, so good the chicken dorma, great value, and really cool area.

Just ordered via Uber eats and the food was piping hot And very tasty, lovely fresh salad kept separate from the meat should you need to reheat , highly recommended

Lovely meal this evening. Staff really friendly. Kebab was fab! Pitta bread was served separately in a bowl. Couldn’t stop eating it!! Would definitely recommend

At a first look, it’s looking expensive. But I swear it’s very worth to go there. Dishes are very generous. The service was excellent. No complaints to make.

Not really the review that you would expect about a kebab house but it serves the best salad that you will get anywhere. Other food is good too.
