The cashier was excellent. I watched her grace and professionalism with a difficult customer. I watched her go out of her way and go the extra step to do her job well. If I had a business I would have recruited her right there.The food isn't great; but we had an appetite for some fried seafood so we tried it. I hadn't been to a captain D's in 30 years and I will likely not be back for another 30years. The bathrooms were terrible, like the bathrooms at a truck stop in 1974 terrible. Good food just need to hire people that are clean and care about their presence in a restaurant. Went to the drive thru today and there was white girl at the window digging in her nails and scratching herself. I don’t care how people groom themselves but in a place of business you should want to be clean and presentable and she didn’t look neither. As customers I believe we should hold any place that provides food to the public to a high standard of cleanliness. Won’t be going back.
let me say I hope captain ds never go out of business because they are far and little between the locations. every time I have eaten here (what often) is eating hot and fresh. as it should be with seafood, which is considered a fast food. one night was a terrible long waiting period, I mean almost 30min. That was the worst, but I choose that I hope.
Went through drive thru last night around 8pm. Shakayla took our order and also gave us our food. She was super polite and had a genuine smile. This is a rare trait nowadays. The food was also great! I will definitely go back — not just for the food but the great service! Thanks Shakayla, you are a gem!
