I had an awful experience at this restaurant. The service was terrible, and the employees were quite unprofessional. Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the food since I never received it. I visited the Pearl location today to pick up lunch 45 minutes after they opened. After placing my order and paying, I was told by the cashier to pull up and wait. I ended up waiting for 15 minutes, and when I drove back around to the window, I waited another 15 minutes without the cashier even opening the window, despite her being right there. I demanded a refund, but she insisted that I had to pull up again. Then a male manager or cook came out, claiming they had just opened, even though they had been open...
I really enjoy my visits to Captain D's. The food is consistently hot and delicious. The prices are reasonable, and I’ve never encountered an unfriendly staff member. I appreciate that if I want to indulge, I can choose fried fish and other seafood, but if I’m looking to be healthier, I can opt for grilled options. I also find the online ordering system to be user-friendly, and my orders are always ready and waiting when I arrive. I’ve heard about the closures of other Captain D's locations, and I sincerely hope that doesn't happen here.
I would not recommend dining here. I'm left wondering how they would pass a food safety inspection, if they even conduct them. The dining area was dirty, the food tasted stale, and the restrooms were in disrepair without basic necessities like hot water and soap. The kitchen staff likely can't wash their hands properly, which is concerning. I'm just hoping I don’t end up getting sick after my meal. I couldn't even finish my fish; it was that unpalatable.
This location is as alright. As a manager, I’d probably have it looking a bit more cleanly. The sauce dispenser didn’t work. The sweet tea was great. The helper at the counter was great. The food wasn’t bad. I got fish and fries. I would eat only if I had a hankering for captain Ds. Didn’t disappoint, didn’t impress. 6/10

I frequently visit this restaurant and have never encountered any issues. The food usually tastes just right. The wait times are typically reasonable, and the staff has always been friendly and accommodating. My go-to order here is the number one, the large fish sandwich combo.
Really good service here. I was kindly acknowledged and spoken to by all three employees on shift 9/7/23 at 11:22. Very courteous and professional. Fast service and well prepared food. Great customer service.
I enjoyed the food. It was really good, but the service was not great. The line moved along very slowly. It took forever to get my food. I probably won't go back to this Captain D's.
