Initially, I was put on hold for a few minutes before deciding to visit the restaurant in person. Upon arrival, I noticed there were no other customers present but I was still on hold. I ordered a catfish combo, paid for it, but only received 2 pieces of catfish. Additionally, the fries they gave me appeared to have been sitting out for a while and my coleslaw was forgotten. There were more issues with the service, but I do not have the time to elaborate. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant, and neither will three of my friends.
The fries were the standout dish during my first and only visit to this restaurant with a friend. Sadly, my experience was marred by a disappointing fish dish that was neither flaky nor flavorful. The breading was also subpar, and the coleslaw was just average. The hush puppies were decent, but overall, we were not fans of Jay's.
Went 2 times this week and waited more than 20 minutes in drive thru. Today, I was the only person in line, and they still couldn't take my order. They were able to take 3 orders that walked in, but again I ended up leaving empty-handed.
I had a fantastic time! I typically visit locations closer to Detroit, but this one really impressed me with its welcoming atmosphere and super cool manager.

The service was great. I got what I asked for. The food looks good and the manger has awesome customer service.
The food was very over priced and tasted very bland. Don't recommend eating the fish or shrimp here.
Great food. Lemon pepper seasoned chicken is delicious. Staff is always friendly at any location.
Food is always freshly cooked to order and the staff is kind. The restaurant is always clean!!!!

Placed a call in order and it was ready on time and the employees were helpful and polite.
The food did not taste as good as the first time. I couldn't even eat 1 chicken tender.
