Captain Mike's Fish And Chips

Good Friday called days ahead to pre-order to avoid waiting. Told to be there 15 minutes early and would be directed in line for our order time. Get there to find out they are allowing walk-ins ahead of people with timed pickups. So this turned into 45 minutes with my 15 minute early arrival and extended time waiting with all of the walkins being allowed infront of timed orders. Don’t advertise to call ahead and preorder if you’re not going to honour that pickup system!

We recently visited the restaurant after watching a food vlog. Had a wonderful experience from food to customer service. We ordered haddock and chips, calamari, and cheese burgers. Fish was expertly cooked. Fresh and flaky meat with light and crispy batter; not oily at all. Burgers were juicy and big.Owners even brought in a complimentary cake for my daughter's birthday. Will definitely visit again.

I forgot to take pictures because of how delicious my food looked! Best fish n chips I've had in Hamilton, definitely recommend this place. Atmosphere is so cozy as well--can't go wrong here!

Too oily and too salty, it seems like they fried the fish in a very old oil or the oil was reused many times. Because i can taste the bad oil taste.

Amazing halibut and chips! Tasty batter, not greasy. Sooooooo good!! You should eat here!
