Caravaggio New York

Wowza! We live just a few blocks away, but somehow have never been to Caravaggio (perhaps still wanting to hold on to memories of Coco Pazzo? . Caravaggio ain't cheap, but it's beyond worth it, that's how good it is. Everyone in our party said that the the first course appetizers/salads were the best ever, and then we all again unanimously said that our main courses were among the best we've every had! We were stuffed but ended up sharing a souffle, and, we weren't surprised, but another grand slam. Save up and go, you will not be disappointed!

Very attentive but not overwhelming service. Burrata with melon znd prosciutto was great stater to share. Special black squid homemade fettuccine with assorted white meat fish in a cherry tomato and caper sauce was ridiculous. The special swordfish was a thick beautiful cut that was dusted with ginger and served with a ginger bok choy and sesame. The taste was amazing. Great find

I had a flawless dining experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was both beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively. It’s been a long time since a meal has impressed me from beginning to end like this one did. I'm definitely planning to return next week!

Caravaggio serves the best pasta in New York. The linguini with sea urchin was absolutely divine, and the zucchini flowers were impeccable. We enjoyed warm and attentive service, and I want to extend my thanks to the staff for making this dinner such a memorable experience. Réservez une table maintenant

the service is really excellent and everyone who works there is so attentive and makes the evening as a special occasion. the escape was good – fish. the appetizer had no taste. zero. dessert – excellent and beautiful. At some point, this “Fantasy”/price with eating 100%.

It was an incredibly busy day, but the service was still spot on! I loved the atmosphere even more this time than before. This place truly is the best in the Upper East Side.
