The food at this restaurant is delicious! However, the service is lacking. The establishment needs to upgrade their system to better accommodate delivery drivers, Uber drivers, phone-in orders, and walk-in customers. It is not ideal for a walk-in customer to have to wait for their food while the cashier is busy with a DoorDash order. Investing in another computer and hiring staff specifically trained to handle different types of orders would greatly improve efficiency. It is time for the restaurant to upgrade their systems to better serve all customers.
Delicious! The Jerk Chicken Dinner was wonderful. It comes in regular or large size. You get rice and beans, a vegetable, I chose cabbage and five pieces chicken with the big dinner. It's spicy, but only enough. It was enough for 2 meals. They also carry Curry Goat and Oxtails. The Cornbread is good, it is sweet like cake and it is an additional fee. Well worth the $11 price; there is a 50 cent .50) fee for using debit cards.
At the first visit of this place and I was not disappointed! I ate in several Caribbean places and this, hands down, had the best prices and several dishes to choose from. I ordered a small ox flour with cabbage and rice. The oxen were tender, the cabbage had a perfect crunch and was not overgrown. The lady who owns this place took orders and did not waste time to get us our food. I will visit every time I am in the area!!!
Hello, I bought two dinners from Caribbean Citchen...today! One was oxtails and the other was Fraccasee (sp? chicken. It was very good. The only thing I would ask is if ordering whether large or small dinner size, please do not skimp on the oxtails. They were quite little...like a quarter size. Please give a good amount of size for the oxtails!!! PLEASE!!

This food is a disgrace when it comes to Jamaican food, they literally serve canned vegetables as their veggie side. Like how lazy do you have to be to not cut cabbage or plantains and empty a can in a pot. Like this food is a joke and almost offensive. This place is a finesse which I expect nothing less because it’s on the west side.
Veggie "RASTA PASTA" . It was just delicious! I was HAPPY to taste _food_ that TASTES like someone KNOW how to cook_forreal.... watch to do it _right. The noodles were perfect AL DENTE '. The court was well seasoned! It was not salty, nor Bland, nor dry!
I got some curry goat , mixed vegetables and rice and peas. Curry goat so good and tender Rice and peas bomb and the vegetables taste like can veggies but my first time visiting and I was on lunch. Definitely very satisfied so good
One of the best holes in the walls in Detroit, Michigan. This place is amazing. I should say the food is amazing. You need to invest in the expansion of the building so that it is not so clogged.
