The roti was absolutely fresh and delicious; I even mentioned it to my son! However, the curry goat was not fresh at all. I bought it to have as a meal the next day, and I've never experienced this issue before, as I've ordered food from here multiple times. At 70 years old, I can usually tell when food isn't fresh, and after getting home, it was clear the goat meat was old. When I heated it up, the taste was quite disappointing, and there were a lot of bones in the meat, which actually made me feel nauseous and sick to my stomach. It was quite unpleasant. I do believe in giving places a second chance, but they seemed to be out of everything when I arrived, so perhaps I shouldn't have ordere...
Ordered through Door Dash on 5/18/2022 after reading previous reviews on Door Dash. One mentioned how good the food was so I’m sold after that until my food arrived. Once I started tasting it I noticed the J Chicken plate was extremely salty. To a point where I could not eat it being concerned about my high blood pressure. I’m sure who the worker was knew that chicken was non edible but yet sold it anyway. People we need to do better especially with food that I paid 24 dollars and change for. After this I would not order again because you would have a stroke.
As a Jamaican I definitely approve! this place is authentic! Tried for the first time , was very good.. the oxtail was very nice and rice an peas had good flavor. plantain was sweet . I also tried the warm potato salad which was actually really good .. it has a tangy taste but not bad . I also got a beef patty was fresh and not dry inside.. My only complaint the potato salad had two little piece of mixed veg in it it needed more an maybe some color. This Definitely will be my new spot !
I’ve eaten here twice and the food has been great each time. Update: I’m usually impressed with my food from here but the last 2 times it has not been too pleasant of an experience for me. The food I just ordered was plain and the oxtails were super small. I wish I would’ve ordered from somewhere else. I don’t think I will order from them again for a while, if at all.

Absolutely the best! I either stop by or have someone pick up food from here every 2 to 5 months. The food is incredibly delicious; I even travel 40 minutes from Virginia just to get it. The flavors are authentic, the portion sizes are generous, and the staff is fantastic. The jerk curry, cakes, and all the dishes are simply unmatched!
My first time eating here I got the oxtail rasta pasta and it has to be the BEST pasta I’ve ever had. The portion was big and I was struggling to keep eating because of that but the sauce was sooo good like almost addictive. If y’all sold it in bottles I would 100% buy it. Also, I edited to add a picture I found of my food.
Gave this place a try twice thinking that maybe they had a bad day, but no. The worst Jamaican food I 've ever had. The Mac and cheese wasn 't even done properly. Chunks of cheese. The Rasta pasta was drowning in sauce. And, the jerk chicken was dry as a desert.
THE BEST. I stop here or have someone pick ne up food 2-5 month. Food sooo damn good I travel 40 min from Virginia to get it. Flavors authentic, Portions sizes are huge, staff is amazing. Jerk, curry, cakes, mi ah nah kare, de food be unmatched!
