I’m writing a review as think the food is excellent however my 2 star review is for the pricing. They changed the menu and the prices have skyrocketed. Ordered a pizza today the Proper Pepperoni which is equivalent to a personal size and it was $25, with tax and tip close to $29. This is in my opinion way overpriced. As mentioned food is good but the prices do not reflect the location in Newtown Square and in a shopping center. Menu is very overpriced!
If you’re looking for a city vibe with an equally delicious menu here in the Philly burbs, check out the renovated Carmines in Newtown Square! Don’t let the shopping center location fool you, it’s not a pizza joint and it’s not a pub, it’s got its own cool thing going on and we loved it. Dine local means patronizing our neighboring towns as well. Love, your H-town neighbors ️
Carmine’s Eatery is a MUST TRY. Firstly, the service is amazing, the hostess, servers, and waitress were so friendly and attentive. Next, the vibes were great, it had a modern and cozy atmosphere. Lastly, the food was AMAZING! You have to try their pizzas and pastas, and omg the crab dip appetizer was out of this world. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Beautifully renovated establishment with the best lunch I’ve had in Newtown Square. Attentive and knowledgeable staff who helped with menu questions and quick service. Was overly impressed with Carmine’s atmosphere, service, food, and will be returning again sooner than later. Go here, you won’t be disappointed. Great food! Awesome remodel! Service was pleasant. Everything was positive, we cannot wait to go back again. Five stars. I went here for my birthday dinner this past weekend. We had a larger party (7) and ordered a lot of drinks and food Everything was fantastic, including the service!! This used to be good...when it was a hole in the wall...it was revamped recently and now they're trying too hard. The pizza has gone down hill tremendously imo...used to me much better. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Réservez une table maintenant
