"During a buddies golf trip we stopped here for dinner. Service was average (waited forever for water even after requesting it) but what really surprised us was how bad the fish and chips were. And the breaded deep fried scallops were not even edible. Just bad alround."

Carr's was local to where we were staying and was recommended. When we arrived there was a queue for tables and we informed that we would get a table soon. this was the case. We were seated on the deck which has beautiful views. We were told that they were very busy and there would be a wait for our meal. Drinks were brought fairly quickly. It was obvious that the staff were working hard and apologised several times for the wait. When our food came it was worth the wait, the lobster rolls and tacos were very good and tasty. even though we were now past their closing time there was no feeling of being rushed. Would visit again. Also has a gift shop as part of the same building.

I was very surprised at the size of the mussels since this is PEI after all. Most were quite small. The wine and garlic broth was pretty boring and I had to order a biscuit to sop some of it up as they don’t offer bread. Seriously, what restaurant doesn’t give you bread. The breaded fish was fine but was ‘one’ very thin slice for the $20 bucks you paid for it. Pretty pricey dinner considering what we had.

We had the Best dinner on the patio at Carrs The fish tacos were the best…. Coconut shrimp lobster Baked oysters on the shell were delicious Sitting on the deck we watched the kids jump off Stanley bridge into the water… very entertaining The rum raisin cake was sinfully amazing…melt in your mouth Take out cinnamon rolls for breakfast the next morning Yummmm

We were staying in Park Corner for a week with our 12 month old. We went back to Carrs multiple times! Their seafood was delicious, the menu options mouth watering so we had to keep coming back! And they were fantastic in supporting us with our 12 month old. Not to mention a beautiful view on the water. Highly recommend!
