This is a cool place on first impression. The layout and design are unique and welcoming. Unfortunately, they truly make no effort to welcome those who are not regulars. Our issue was the service and food. The place was understaffed, but the wait staff made no effort to mitigate it. We had a party of 8, made reservations, and were sat quickly upon arrival. However, we then waited 30 minutes for someone to come to our table to take any drink orders. After our drinks and appetizers came, it was another 30 minutes until we were checked on again. We decided to make a 40 min drive to this place for a birthday dinner because someone recommended it. The place looks ran down which doesn’t matter because sometimes you get the best food in those places. No kids meals. No prices on menu unless you have cell service and can scan menu for prices. I asked for my burger medium it came out over cooked. Two ppl got steaks over cooked. Crab cakes were bland. The fries are better at a pizzeria. My burger didn’t come with any sides or fry’s so you have to order separate. And I’m not picky and never complain usually its my wife. But when a table of 9 ppl all said the same thing it’s bad. It was an absolutely amazing establishment that had exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. I had the 24 oz T- bone, which was cooked to perfection. It was exactly as I remembered it from when my parents would take my brother and I there.

We have been visiting Carsonville for years. My husband's steak medallions were cooked to perfection, and the beer was ice-cold. However, my boneless wings were undercooked inside.

Place was not busy...food is unbelievable...way too many fries...burger was huge....But great place .would like to go on a Friday when they have live music.
