Johnny Macaroni's (Plymouth Street)

Obviously my opinion of this restaurant is based on my personal preference I thought the food was good, I had the chicken parm...I ordered the small portion and that was plenty of food. The cutlet was perfect, tender,breaded pounded out and fried to perfection. The sauce is good but it is a light meat sauce..almost a marinara...I prefer a darker heavier meat sauce...but it is fresh and plentiful. The meatballs were excellent, firm,tender and flavorful...real meatballs not breadballs! I was eager to sample everything on the menu! I decided on their buffalo-alfredo chicken broccoli ziti and it was absolutely fantastic! My son, who only likes Mac n cheese, was delighted with their version made with 5 cheeses. The staff was very friendly too. We definitely plan to return. Great food! Very busy Saturday night so glad we made a reservation. One waitress was handling the seating near the bar area which is a lot and she did a great job. Classic Italian comfort food at very reasonable prices. Both locations are fantastic! Highly recommend as it is part of our regular rotation.

I only got takeout but the mac and cheese is bomb. Id skip the tip on takeout they ask) they are supposed to come out to your car. Nvr did. She asked my make/model etc. Ill still go back tho for that buffalo mac.... Food: 4 Service: 3

Everything was great except our table for 2 was tiny. We had very little room to move or have much of anything on the table once dinner was served. Otherwise everything else was great.
