Wow, wow, carvel is NOTHING what it used to be years ago. I purchased one small cake and a round large cake with a 6pack of ice cream sandwiches total of $105. The large cake was pending to be picked up for friday 26th. The small one and the ice cream sandwiches I received that day to blow out the candles for my daughter 11th birthday since it was a Tuesday can't really do much on weekdays. The cake tasted so bad and past due the date. The ice cream sandwiches had a funny taste to it as well. Definitely tasted like they have been sitting in the freezer for months! If I could put ZERO stars I would. Let's start off that the owner is very rude and has ABSOLUTLEY ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE skill. He stated that he decides if he wants to accept the carvel buy one, get one offer.... Carvel should take his franchise away. His own employees have to apologize for his behavior which is pretty sad and I feel bad for them. His prices are higher thanall the other locations and I WILL NEVER GO TO HIS STORE EVER AGAIN, HE IS AN A$$HOLE!
During the winter, I visit this restaurant once a month, but in the warmer months, I come here weekly if not daily. The staff is always friendly, quick, and kind. This is a great place to enjoy a cold treat.
Carvel, get your act together. Went there last night, almost closing time, huge line at the door. Butter Pecan tasted like water sugar vanilla. You are a tradition in this town, just make t worth it!
