The couple running this Carvel in Port Washington are extremely rude and seem unhappy managing their business. Their negative attitude is completely uncalled for. The community would be better off without the eye-rolling at simple requests or small order changes. I highly recommend that locals and visitors spend their money at Shmusht Ice Cream Cookies on Main Street instead, where the staff and owners are friendly and the ice cream is top quality. Horrible customer service experience! The lady working today was very rude. I asked her one question about the Wednesday promotion buy one get one free and she almost killed me with her eyes and her anger! I am sorry I am in between sizes and wantsmall not medium as she want me to ordered? since when serving soft serve is rocking science? she make the whole experience withmy toddler so difficult, I went to support local business and have been there before but this time was disappointing. It?s just a basic ice cream parlor. Nothing special. Tucked away in a little corner you wouldn?t find it if you weren?t looking. Was a lot better when the Cinema was open. Could use a makeover and maybe a table or two to sit down and enjoy your ice cream.They are trying, I?ll give them that but it?s an uphill battle for the small businesses in the area.
I had a disappointing experience with a cashier during my visit. He was a young Asian gentleman who was quite unprofessional. I found myself having to repeat my order multiple times, and his responses to my questions were quite rude. This certainly does not reflect well on the brand.

The service was quite disappointing, and the store had an unpleasant smell. I asked for extra sprinkles and was charged an extra dollar for them! They definitely need to enhance their customer service and maintain better cleanliness in the store.
The customer service was absolutely terrible! It felt like the staff disliked their customers. The girl kept making faces during my visit. If you're unhappy with your job, maybe it's time to consider doing something else.
