Absolutely terrible experience. The employee was rude, took forever to serve, and spent most of the time on his phone. To make matters worse, he actually ate a candy from my Carvelanche—who does that?! He also messed up my order, refused to fix it, and charged me for the Reese’s that are supposed to be included for free. When I confronted him, he argued with me. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and warning others to avoid this location.
Absolutely horrible. First off the guy was rude took absolutely forever and was looking at his phone. He then ate a candy from my freakin carvalanche Who the hell does that?!?!!? Then he made my order wrong refused to remake it and charged me for thereeses in my damn carvalanche when they are part of the order free.... then argued with me over it. I will be disputing thecharge with my card company. I am spreading word to people to avoid this location
If possible, I would give this restaurant zero stars. My experience was awful. The staff were neither unfriendly nor particularly welcoming. After my son drank a strawberry milkshake, he became ill, and one of the other four items I bought looked questionable. He ended up vomiting, so I returned everything and requested a refund. Initially, they refused, but finally agreed after I warned them I would share my experience with other customers.
The staff at Carvel are unfriendly and rude, especially one woman who seems to really dislike her job and is always on the phone. Additionally, they don’t put enough toppings on the ice cream. I won’t be returning. I recommend going to the location near John H. West—they’re fantastic! Réservez une table maintenant
Carvel creates the finest ice cream cakes. We've tried cakes from other places, but they never compare. The chocolate crunch in the center, combined with the rich, creamy frosting, makes it a perfect choice for special occasions.
When the store ownership changed hands, we were hopeful that service would improve; well it hasn't. At least the old owner kept a clean store. This store is dirty; always. The workers are indifferent and not friendly.
I have known Al, the owner of this Carvel, for many years. He is kind and respectful, and he always has a smile on his face. I love getting all my birthday cakes from him.
