I and two other customers approached the store 8:48. They close at nine. The doors were locked and the employee inside refused to let us in while he was cleaning. Another employee opened the door to let out a customer and the lady in front of me asked her why they’re closing before nine and her response was we’re shortstaffed. I said that’s not good business when someone drives to the store, to close early not let them in. So then the employee reluctantly said “OK come in.” I and the two other women walked in and the placed smelled like something was terribly spoiled. I really love this Carvel, but occasionally I've had some negative experiences with the employees. There have been times when I’ve received significantly less ice cream than expected. I usually get ice cream all over, and most of the time they do fill up the cup properly. I've only spoken up twice when this happened, and both times I was charged extra to get a cup that was actually a normal size. I have three pictures: one shows the amount of ice cream I usually receive from other Carvel locations, while the other two show what I was given before being charged extra. This Carvel location was not well maintained. The counters and tables were sticky, and the entire work area seemed dirty. The ice cream in the containers showed signs of freezer burn. The staff were unfriendly and used ill-fitting lids on our Carvelanches, creating a big mess. The servers were rude and made it seem like customers were a nuisance when placing their orders. I will never return to this Carvel again!
This is one of the dirtiest Carvel store I've been. The ice cream in the freezer looked like they have gotten defrosted and frozen again. The counter is dirty. Vent pretty dirty, floor and freezers are disgusting. Im surprised this store passed DOH inspection and allows the store to be open. Im sure there are mouse in that store.

Due to my difficulty with ambulation, I requested that I place my order and someone just drop it to me in front of the store. I waited in my car and a nice young gentleman placed my grandson?s birthday cake on my front seat. We both had masks on and had no contact with one another. They went out of their way to accommodate me
Mango and lemon sorbet were just awful and went straight to garbage. Soft-serve ice cream was not great but bearable. I wish there was a real ice cream place around.
This Carvel is really wonderful! The staff is very attentive, the variety of ice cream is impressive, and there's ample free and convenient parking available.
They don't have soft ice creams and the place looks old and awful to be honest, I will not recommended this place at all

My grandkids absolutely adore this place! The ice cream is always delicious.
