Don 't trust this store. I ordered a $40 order on GrubHub to only get 1 single scoop ice cream delivered. No emails, text or call was made. When I called Carvel they worker said they updated the app with the new items out of stock with grub hub so youwon 't be charged LIES!! I was charged my full $40 order and a $6.99 delivery charge for a single scoop of ice cream!!! If youcan 't complete more than 2/3 of a big order don 't take the order do the right thing you wasted my time And the poor deliverydriver who now lost the money he was going to make because GrubHub is going to take it from somebody and I bet it 's not you guys
Do not trust this restaurant. I placed a $40 order through GrubHub but only received a single scoop of ice cream. I never received any emails, texts, or calls explaining the problem. When I reached out to Carvel, an employee told me they had updated the app to show certain items were out of stock and that I wouldn’t be charged for them. That was not true! I was still billed the full $40, plus a $6.99 delivery fee, for just one scoop of ice cream. If you can’t fulfill at least two-thirds of a large order, you shouldn’t accept it. This was a complete waste of my time and money.
During our visit to friends in Briarcliff Manor, we stopped by Carvel at 1874 Pleasantville Rd. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The cashier displayed unacceptable behavior, lacking both courtesy and professionalism. I cannot recommend this location to anyone. The employee named Livia, as noted on the receipt, was particularly rude and unhelpful. Our experience was quite unpleasant. In contrast, we frequently visit the Carvel in Cortlandt Manor, where the staff and management are always friendly and welcoming, with no issues at all.
This Carvel Express location is within walking distance from my home. However, I've noticed that although the listed closing time is 10 PM, they often close up early. On several occasions, my husband arrived 20 minutes before closing hoping to get ice cream, only to find the store already closed with the "closed" sign up and the staff having cleaned up. This has happened more than once. Additionally, we've encountered employees at the counter who were not very friendly.

We were visiting some friends in Briarcliff manor and decided to stop at Carvel in 1874 Pleasantville rd, Briarcliff manor, what a disappointment, the cashier had a horrible and racist customer service.. I will not recommend this place to anyone.. the girlname on receipt Livia was so racist and unwilling to do anything.. Horrible experience We always go to the carvel at Cortlandtmanor and they are NOT racist at all, excellent staff and manager..
When I walked into Carvel Express, an elderly man greeted us while holding a paper towel. I hesitantly ordered ice cream, and my daughter asked for a milkshake. Unfortunately, some milk spilled on the cup, and to my shock, he wiped it off with the same paper towel he had been using to wipe his hands earlier. It was very unpleasant and unhygienic. I believe the health department should inspect this place.
This place is truly disappointing. I ordered a sundae dasher, but they gave me the wrong item not once, but twice, and it was already made. I tried to speak up, but it seemed like the staff couldn’t hear me. Pleasantville Carvel is far better—definitely go to the one in Pleasantville instead of this one!
The customer service was poor; the staff member who took our orders was unfriendly and rude. On the positive side, the ice cream was good, but I would rather drive a bit further to visit a different location or explore new ice cream shops.

The ice cream here is delicious, but the customer service is quite disappointing. The staff were unkind and abrupt, which seems to be a recurring issue at this place. I hope they can improve.
It was exactly what I anticipated. The place was very clean. Since today is National Ice Cream Day, I just couldn't resist indulging!
