CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?!!!?!?!?!? My parents went to the @thetastytable in Ossining for breakfast this morning, they walk in and the owner came to the front and told them there would be a wait for two. My parents said no problem and waited around. 10 min past and the 4 top table that was open since they got there still wasn 't in use. The owner then came up to them to say sorry for the wait, my dad asked if they could sit at the 4 top that was open...the lady said no just in case a four top comes in where my dad replied well no one has sat there the 10 min we have been waiting so was it possible they could sit there....the lady had the nerve to tell my parents...... "I CAN SEE THIS ISNT A GOOD...
The tofu breakfast burrito was ok. It was clear that they wanted to have vegan options but didn’t really know how to do that well. The tofu wasn’t really seasoned and the other non-vegan aspects of the standard burrito (cheese, sausage) were just left out rather than replaced with something else. I added avocado and that helped. It was a bummer to see they listed fish as vegetarian on the menu as well. This always makes me nervous that I’ll get accidentally non-vegan food because the place doesn’t understand vegetarianism. My meal was vegan but I felt like I had to be obnoxiously clear to make sure it was.
After the first visit, we were hooked on this delicious, unique eatery. Completely awesome in every way. We enjoy it so much we booked a birthday party there in a few weeks and guess what? We just started going there 3-weeks ago! Lisa her husband treated us like pure gold. The staff is very attentive, courteous jovial. The vibe is laid-back, friendly and the place is immaculate. This is our permanent Sunday brunch spot and is hands-down THE BEST eatery in Ossining. Get there right now!
Delicious food! My husband is a vegetarian, I follow a keto diet and our friend who was there with us is a foodie we all were very, very pleased with our meals. There were so many good choices that it was hard to decide what to get. The staff was friendly and extremely accommodating. My only regret is that we did not have any room for dessert! The food was very good, however, the staff was not. I had a few questions about the menu and ever answer was followed with an attitude or a snap remark. Attentiveness to the needs of the table were not there. I could understand if there was multiple people present but there was only one other group eating. The restaurant itself looked clean and friendly. The food was great. The staff, needs improvement.

Visiting Sleepy Hallow from Jersey and reserved a table for dinner and brunch. Very friendly staff and nice cafe. Food was delicious!!! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family who are in town visiting the Halloween attractions. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We got the Buttermilk Pancakes , Huevos Rancheros and Bloody Mary blood orange mimosa. Really good, the pancakes were nice and fluffy and the eggs were perfectly cooked. I only wish they had sent a little more syrup.
