Our stay at the Altapura was marked by disappointing experiences. The ski rental service leaves something to be desired, with unsuitable equipment and foot pain from the first day. Simple requests, like cushions in the room, were overlooked. At the bar, the absence of pancakes for snacks and the lack of après-ski activities were disappointing. Additionally, the payment process was tedious as we were asked to pay upon receipt of our Cafe, and even getting cheese from the bar was a challenge. Shuttle services were also unreliable, leaving us waiting in the freezing cold. The internet outage made it difficult to purchase packages. Ayant une certaine expérience des séjours 5 étoiles, j'ai trouvé des aspects positifs, mais d'autres à revoir rapidement : l'emplacement est plutôt bon, les installations sont correctes sans effet wow (identité olfactive de l'hôtel, décoration). Il y a beaucoup de disparité concernant le service, c'est le problème... certaines personnes sont des perles et d'autres frôlent le manque de respect. We are used to staying at 5 star hotels in Europe. NOTHING TO SEE ! Professionalism is not there at all, management is not very receptive to customer comments. The quality of the breakfast is just catastrophic! Finally, it depends on what you're looking for: boxed juice, frozen croissants, nothing homemade, industrial ingredients: even pancakes! Damn it ! Magnificent hotel on the edge of the slopes. The equipment is top of the range, the rooms, even classic ones, are specious and very comfortable despite the non-adjustable air conditioning (we were too hot). The team service is perfect. The spa is very pleasant and the indoor outdoor swimming pool is perfect after a good day of skiing. Please note that the spa and the swimming pool are not accessible to children after 6 p.m. Disappointment in the restaurants whose decoration is not aligned with the standard of the hotel and prices that are too high for what you eat there. Séjour merveilleux à l'Altapura. Les chambres étaient parfaites, nous avions une belle vue sur les pistes. L'emplacement était idéal, avec un accès skis aux pieds, mais un peu de marche pour rejoindre le centre-ville le soir. Cependant, un service de navette est proposé et j'ai apprécié la promenade aller-retour. L'ambiance au bar le soir était agréable, toujours avec un feu de cheminée crépitant. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien, mais nous n'avons pas mangé dans les restaurants pour le dîner. La piscine et le spa étaient magnifiques. Chambres : 5 Service : 5 Emplacement : 5
Very nice experience in a neat decor. Attentive service. We were pampered with a smile from reception to departure, including the concierge, the spa, breakfasts and meals as well as departures/arrivals on the slopes. The rooms are spacious, well soundproofed, the bedding is top notch and the spa brand products were appreciated. Only one downside: the hotel restaurants which are very expensive for classic cuisine. Pretty shocking stay. However, the service and support dealing with my complaint is the worst I have ever received. I won’t go into all the details all I will say is there is a reason there is 35 one to two star reviews in under a year. It seems the majority of the 5 star reviews are from 4+ years ago when there was different owners. Save yourself the cash no chance this is a 5 star hotel. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
