This restaurant was fantastic! My large family met here and ordered a variety of dishes from the menu (as it is tapas style) and I highly recommend it. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious! The restaurant itself is a moderate size with small LED lights scattered throughout the space, creating a beautifully dimly lit atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the meatballs, which were delicious and served in a sauce that was so good you'll want to drink it! The steak strips were also fantastic, as were the potato dishes. For seafood lovers, the shrimp in batter and sardines are excellent options. Even those who are not big fans of seafood will find something...
The restaurant has a Spanish concept, not Italian as advertised in some places. The food was decent, but could have been more authentic. The young waitress who served us was charming, but lacked knowledge about the ingredients in some dishes. This could be improved with better training.
friendly and friendly staff, cleaner place and very good eating, huge portions and good price, we were very satisfied with the “pasta al horno” and the “paella” I strongly recommend casa juan when they are in the opposite.
I moved to LA 7 years ago and recently came back to see my Mum in good old Mawnan Smith. This was the best food I have had in a very very long time. Better than any restaurant in LA!!! Highly recommend.

The tapas at this restaurant are large and the portions are more generous compared to other tapas spots, so diners may leave feeling very full! The staff is also very friendly.
Really good tapas. We were served and cooked for by the owner. He did us proud. Good size portions. Will go again when back in the area.
