Awesome place. The town is worth a walk to enjoy the oldy architecture, but there is nothing relevant about the restaurant itself: terrace faces the main road instead of the river behind (mistake? , and there is no highlight inside. Service is ok: they seem a bit rude, but all of them are efficient and kind of warm. Value is in the food: it might not be presented in a stylish way, but everything we took was damn good and big, really big! Definitely worth then visit if you are hungry in the area. We arrive late at night but the waiter did not doubt to open the restaurant and switch on the heater. The cachopo was really excellent and the Service was perfect, price Was average. Trato excelente por parte del camarero a pesar de llegar tarde entre semana, el cachoño estaba de lujo así como los escalopines, todo ellos sin ser caro.
We are here twice in 2 nights. Both times the food was good. Thankfully the waiter advised us not to over order as the portions were very large. The food was good and very reasonable. Communication is a challenge due to our limited Spanish and no English menu. Overall would recommend.
