We took visitors from Florida to Casa Mia for the date night Wednesday special.What a treat.Service,ambiance and most importantly food quality were all excellent representing at $69 for 2 great value given the quality of the offering. The advertised offering a 3 course meal with a shared dessert is understated.Yes the appetizer is a house salad but it's a great salad fill with a variety of fresh ingredients including prosciutto and a delicious dressing.Of the several main course selections which change weekly we chose the pickeral ( walleye) and veal dishes both excellently prepared and presented one with a variety of unusual artisan vegetables the other with a lemon based marinade and delic...
Every time my wife & I visit Niagara Falls we make a special trip to Casa Mia. It's not in the main tourist area but it is worth the 8 minute drive to get there. Shuttles are also provided by the restaurant with advance notice. We started with the Antipasti Tier for 2 which included clams, shrimp, seafood salad, olives, assorted meats and cheeses along with marinated vegetables. Amazing presentation and the taste was superb. We then moved on to the duck confit Linguine with the pasta being homemade and my wife had the most delicious veal chop she has had in years. This is a top notch restaurant! From the decor to the service and the food - nothing is lacking. There were four of us in our group - the meal started out with an amuse bouche with olives, pickles, peppers and breadsticks. Next came a palate cleanser of lemon sherbet. Then the entrees - three of the four of our group got the daily specials (there were several from which to choose) and I got ravioli. All of us cleaned our plates! Then, the highlight of the meal - flambee - what a great show! They wheel out a cart with a gas burner and fruits, sugar, butter and, of course, liqueur. If you want to experience the best authentic Italian cuisine with the added bonus of a complimentary car to and from the restaurant, make your reservations today. The service was beyond excellent, the food was amazing, and the family atmosphere was both warm and welcoming. Dom greeted us immediately on entering and treated us like friends or family and took great care of us. This was our 4th visit over the years. So glad it's still there! I LOVE the beet gnocchi. If you don't like the richness of the gorgonzola sauce, ask to put it on yourself. Ana, our waitress was a doll! My husband had a pizza and the sauce tasted burned:( So he was disappointed. But I think we will still go back. Mid to fine dining.I've reviewed this restaurant years ago. Ask about their taxi deal if you are coming from the falls. It's about a 15 minute drive.
When it comes to Italian restaurants. There is only one name that comes to our families mind and that is Casa Mia. Bar None, this is the Best Italian Restaurant in town, and may I go further to be bold enough to say within a 100 Miles.The Food is Excellent, Lunch or Dinner. Week Day or Week End.Everything is Handmade and the Service is also Excellent.This is one of my favorite restaurants.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant, the experience was amazing! Our server, Nancy, certainly made the evening very enjoyable and special! The food is excellent, prepared by the owner, all dishes are made from scratch! Presentation and taste was certainly one of our best experiences, highly recommended, will definitely return when we come back to Niagara Falls!!
Loved Casa Mia before however their newest renovations have made it even better....lovely formal dining as has become the norm for Casa Mia, as well as an upscale "casual", bar setting. While enjoying the new setting, Dominec once again made us feel very special...thank you Dominec. And did I mention the food?...........yum. Réservez une table maintenant
