"Our breakfast was very good. Cascade Cafe will be a return stop for us. Servers and staff are quite friendly. The quaint atmosphere reminds me of Elyria in the 1950s....friendly, comfortable and outstanding food at reasonable prices."

This diner has great prices, yummy simple food, and unbeatable flexible Midwestern service. If you are driving through on the Interstate, like we were, it is so worth the short drive into Elyria to avoid the chains and eat here. Katie, the owner, was so kind and helpful to our group of two adults and four kids. She even threw in some muffins for the road. Especially loved the Pay It Forward board, where customers can pay for each other's food.
My girlfriend always says I 've never had anything here that wasn 't great. I wholeheartedly agree. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and the food never dissapoints. I point all my friends and family here whenever they 're looking for a good diner to go to that isn 't a chain. Cascade Cafe is just one more place in Elyria that really makes the whole city a better place to be. Try a frappe!
Great family owned business located in the heart of downtown. Great breakfast and lunch menu full coffee and cappuccino bar. Great atmosphere fast friendly service the owner Kadie is a great owner who cares about her cafe. If your in elyria living or just passing through. Go check this amazing local family owned business out .
First visit. Very friendly server! Super Mocha coffee. Had an old-fashioned club sandwich. Excellent! Toast and salad were fresh and crisp, tomatoes have just been picked up before they were cut. Bacon tasted as if it had been made right before the sandwich was assembled. You also have vegetarian options. Will be back soon!
