We hadn’t been for a while had takeaway when that’s all they could do in It must have been tough. But the good times are back! We reserved a table for two, and thank goodness we did as it was packed with a great buzz. People enjoying themselves again and I think the staff were too! We just had a simple main course meal. Drinks came quickly with freebie olives which we replenished when we demolished them. My liver and bacon with mash was lovely and a huge portion! Carrots and broccoli on the side. I also had a side of spinach. Mrs W had a prosciutto pizza and we had cheesy garlic bread (a bit too ‘doughy’ for my liking). It was all very nice. One large glass of merlot, fizzy water and a coke was Good value.
Fantastic, small, local Italian restaurant. Pizzas and pasta both very much enjoyed by all in our party of 8 (kids and adults), and the puddings were delicious too. Particularly recommend the tartufo pistacchio! Will definitely come again. Mille grazie! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available for up to age 9. Includes main (choice of 3 pasta dishes, pizza or nuggets), drink and ice cream. Portion was a good size for the 6 yr old in our party. Staff were accommodating and interacted with the kids. No activity sheets provided as the bigger chain restaurants do, but we had come prepared with activities anyway!
Food is so delicious. We went there for a meal with hubby and child and friends with another child Then another family joined us just for drinks. The staff was so amazing and polite. Best pasta meal I’ve had! Authentic Italian restaurant, reasonably priced nice setting, we couldn’t fault it. I had the vegetable linguine which was so tasty my partner had meatballs of which there were loads! We will definitely return when we are in the area again.
