Whenever I visit Paisley by air or by rail, this is the first place I stop to satisfy my craving for fish and chips. Reliably crispy, flavorful, substantial portions and reasonably priced. A warm atmosphere where the locals gather to share stories. Alfredo (owner), David (cook) Jackie (server) are great company. I feel like a welcome member of the family. Great conversations with Alfredo about family, music, Italy, motor bikes, Scotland, foraging mushrooms and history.

This used to be a superb chippy but standards have plummeted. I ordered a takeaway Haddock supper £9:50) and it was frankly terrible. Soggy yellow chips and a decent sized fish in more soggy batter. I ate the fish and a couple of chips and what was left went in the midden.

Hi I want to send an extended thankyou , I ordered a surprise fish tea for my elderly friend as a wee treat this evening, she phoned me to say that was the best fish supper ever, well done by the way do you deliver to Saltcoats????

Best chips ever and lovely cuppa visited from London for last 15 years to Glasgow and finally made it to Paisley lovely place would defo visit again. Jumped on train from Glasgow Central only took 10 mins. and town is lovely.

I’ve been coming here since I was a boy and whenever I’m back in Paisley it’s a must for me.I’ve had fish and chips all over the U.K. and really and truly the Haddock supper here cannot be beaten..anywhere.Second to none.
