Castle Cafe - Réserver une table

We are a family run dog friendly is how it is described . Not exactly our experience based on today . Over the past few weeks I have visited the cafe with my young anxious cockapoo. Progressing to sitting inside . The girl with long dark hair been kind enough to say when he’s wined not to worry they are all young and have to learn . Today as a family we choose to visit for Sunday breakfast after walking round the castle . We chose a table in the corner . Our dog with it been busier was slightly more anxious than normal and started to bark , still sat with us we attempted to calm him down. This is a belated post due to us going on holiday the day after we visited here... We had just had a great little breakfast- huge fresh tea-cakes, good bacon and golden eggs along with strong coffee and a mug of tea when disaster struck...our poor puppy was very very ill in the car and these guys sprang into action when I had to go an ask for help. They rallied brilliantly, despite this being our first ever visit; because of this it will not be our last! #superheroesinaprons

A lovely little family run business who really make you feel at home every time you visit and appreciate regular return customers. Food is always handmade and fresh, this place is perfect for drinks or an icecream on a hot day too! Will always be back!

Chance visit with friends as we walked past. Great service, a really friendly welcome, lovely variety of cakes and drinks. Make sure you try the chocolate and orange scone (recommend the assiete too). Came away feeling good with the world.

Popped in for a quick lunch after a long walk with my Husky! Very friendly staff, welcoming, very fast service and lovely food ! They even accommodated my husky’s sausage lunch- highly recommended

Run down cafe found a hair in the desert. Staff very miserable. If you visit this castle do not waste your money bring your own drink and food you have been warned. Steer clear!

Great food, great specials. Good for a walk. Car park gets busy as it’s small but can park on road or at pugneys and walk. Dog friendly inside too.

Been in a few times. Always good. Bacon, egg sausage sandwich this time. Carrot cake for afters. All fine. Service good.
