After seeing a lot about this restaurant online, myself and my daughter visited yesterday. On arrival we were told to go upstairs and take any seat we were the only ones there), on climbing the stairs we were sitting in a very strong smell from the fryers, not helped by the open windows that kept the smell from lessening, ordered 2 soft drinks from the list, but one wasn't available. We didn't wait too long for our order to be taken, while waiting I could see over the balcony one one of the girls working continuously pick at her hair while standing beside the service counter and fryers. After a wee while the food arrived, I had the battered fish with the twice fried chips, my daughter opting...
A decent portion of fish and chips, tasted good! This is more of a gourmet style fish and chips I prefer the chips you’d get from a chippy. The salt and pepper chips were the only let down, not what we were expecting. The restaurant layout and decor was very nice and our waiter was exceptionally friendly. The best F&C's I have had. Looks like your normal shop but they do offer GF options in a separate fryer. GAME CHANGER! Food was fabulous, service was outstanding and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Travelled a long way (from Australia and was not disappointed. Easy to find and deserves a visit. Had a takeaway here and was shocked to pay nearly £10 for a tiny portion of chips and fish. Given the amount your paying I expected alot more. Pickled onions were tiny compared with other chips shops I go to and they added so much salt I couldn't finish the meal . All in all the food was ok but seriously overpriced especially given the portion sizes.

Nice place. Friendly staff. I'd give it a 5 if we hadn't ordered the scampi which wasn't my favourite. The regular battered haddock tempura King Prawns were phenomenal. We chose 3 different things shared. Got a great deal on itison. We'll be back to try some other stuff on the menu next time we're in Glasgow. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Go here for the fried fish and other tempura fried seafood. Definitely one of the best fish and chips spots in the UK. Not fancy fare or a particularly fancy atmosphere, just great food!
