We ate here in fall 2022 and sat outside. We loved it and immediately knew we wanted to return again because of the great food and service. Several times since then we thought about making the 1 hour 10 minute drive to eat there again. On March 31, 2023 we went to a show at the NJ State theatre which is only about 1/2 block away. When I booked the show, I immediately booked a reservation for Catherine Lombardi. This time we sat inside and it surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. One of our pre-COVID favorites and although the menus have been greatly reduced, the quality of execution has not. Pappardelle with Wild Board Bolognese offered a wonderful, intense flavor. My wife's eggplant will provide two dinners and was beautifully plated. Salads, while smaller than before, were fresh and delicious. And, they still maintain one of the moist marvelous wine lists anywhere. Don't miss the very garlic bread.

excellent! it was our first time to enjoy the restaurant and we will definitely return! michelle, our server was very attentive and we loved hearing about the history of the restaurant. only what we regret was not a pasta court.

This is an outstanding place. Portions were generous and the food was absolutely delicious. What lasagne! What garlic bread! This was our first time here, but we will definitely be back! Réservez une table maintenant

Food was great, but our server forgot our salad. Service was very attentive given place was pretty packed. However it was a bit chilly in the dining room.

The Lasagna with Meat Gravy was delicious. Dont skip the Mascarpone Cheesecake. It melts in your mouth. Never a disappointment. Réservez une table maintenant

Service was incredibly slow. Our dishes were very heavy and the menu didn’t have any light options.
