Excellent food and cocktails as always. Started with house Manhattan (delicious and potent) and sparkling water. I had the cauliflower steak special and it was outstanding. You would be hard pressed to identify it as cauliflower. The flavor was robust, the texture had a nice bite without being tough, so juicy inside with a crisp sear on the outside. Spectacular. The apple fritters were homemade light fluffy fried dumplings rolled in cinnamon sugar with a creamy sweet caramel dipping sauce. Finished with a double espresso and went next door to see a concert. Lovely evening. I will be back. Hope to see Cauliflower steak on the regular menu one day.
I was expecting the food to be outstanding. It was just OK. We ate from both menu 's: Catherine Lombardi and the Steak House. Steaks were good but not much better than I can make at home. Shrimp Scampi over Linguine was good, but again, nothing to rave about. Alcohol prices are too high. $10 for a draft beer is rough. $16.00 for a glass of wine! The rolls that they give you are hard as a rock. I should have asked for a new batch. The service was good and restaurant is nice, but I was not wowed like I thought I would be. Just sub-par.
Was seated at sister restaurant Stage Left vs Lombardi, haven't been there before. Ambiance was ok, I like Lombardi better. Food was good, service was lacking. Felt rushed, no explanation of menu specials. No drink refills or more bread for the table. I reserved through the app and stated it was our anniversary. No acknowledgement yet the couple next to us received a free desert for their anniversary. Won't be coming back.
Catherine L's upstairs is closed in the summer because of the outdoor seating area. We opted to eat inside in Stage Left. Since COVID Catherine Lombardi's and Stage Left merged, and you can order from either menu when dining. The Black meatballs are still delicious! So regardless of where I have to eat them, as long as they are still available, i am a happy diner!

Great food, good service. I wish they had the upstairs dining room open more. Friendly owner (Francis) owns both restaurants, downstairs restaurant Stage Left is nice but upstairs restaurant Catherine Lombardi dining room much nicer. Slow nights just has Stage Left open (serves both menus). I have dined her often and will continue dining here. I hope this helps.
Fantastic food we loved special caprese (local tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, amazing spices/herbs) and papradelle and boar bolognese. Great table service with super proud staff. Only negative hostess was arrogant and seated us in a nearly empty dark restaurant all the way at the back by a busy kitchen door.
It was the first time we visited this restaurant because we were going to a show at the State theater. The restaurant was great. Food was delicious and huge portions. The pasta with bolognese sauce was fantastic. I recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
Strawberry pasta was very unique. Had the lasagna, it was ok, wouldnt order it again. Stuffed clams were gigantic! Calamari and garlic bread were good. Amazing wine list!

The Lasagna with Meat Gravy was delicious. Dont skip the Mascarpone Cheesecake. It melts in your mouth. Never a disappointment.
