Cattleman's Rest Motor Inn

Stayed overnight at the Inn on a business trip and so the restaurant was the easy dinner option.I'll be honest, my expectations weren't high and the decor is somewhat dated but the food was fantastic.I had the barramundi spring rolls for entree and lamb shank for main and both were excellent, would highly recommend. My colleague had the calamari and steak, both were also really delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would dine again, although the food wasn't cheap- can't have everything I guess!

The locals rave about the steaks at the Cattleman's. I am not sure what they are on about to be honest. If the steaks are great then perhaps it's how they're grilled?Steaks are ok. But had better. I think there is room for improvement to really bring this venue up to a 5 star and the steaks with it!Entrees - scallops Service is attentive.Easy parkingFriendly staff!Decor - little tired and dark, and could do with a refresh.

The restaurant was clean, although the air conditioner kept dripping water onto the carpet... this was a distraction during the meal. The meal was a good size but dissapointing... a burnt garlic flavour was overpowering and tainted the flavours. Service whilst friendly was slow to come to the table. Overall I've had better.

Good selection of steaks and cooked and presented well. It's always a good place to eat, especially as often there are not many places open at night.

Friendly staff and very tasty and presentable food! Good job on the steak. Also pretty great fries. AMAZING DESERT
