Dear Management of Cava, I hope this message finds you well. I recently visited your restaurant and felt compelled to share my experience, as it left me feeling quite disappointed and uncomfortable. Upon paying for my meal with a $20 bill, I was taken aback when the cashier scrutinized it thoroughly, even going so far as to insinuate that it might be counterfeit. This made me feel unfairly targeted and embarrassed, as if I were being treated with prejudice. I'd actually give this a 3.5/5. I don't think this was the greatest experience or Cava location. It's just average. The food was pretty much what's expected from Cava. It tasted fairly good and was certainly better than other restaurants with a similar format. I got double chicken and it was a LOT of chicken. My girlfriend did the same and basically had another meal for the next day. It was $37 for two double chicken bowls and a cookie. Don't remember it being that much a year or two ago. The food has flavor. I've never had mushy falafels before. The girl who started my bowl was NOT nice. I thought read that the new spice falafel bowl was plant based. When she proceeded to put stuff in my bowl I kept asking is that vegan with each item. She got mad because the sauce she put on I saw it had milk in it and she wanted to just take it off not redo it. I asked her to make a new one because I'm allergic. She made a new one with a huffy attitude and pitched my bowl down. I think they don't really understand English or what vegan or plant based is or what food allergies are. Also, it wasn't very clean. So I won't be back to this cava.
Always loved CAVA food, but this location has been so disappointing over the past 2 years. Every time I go there, it feels like the staff doesn't want to serve you any food. Not sure if there is a corporate directive after 2020, but they try to give you as little as possible. I only choose 3 toppings out of the 12 they have, and when I asked for an extra spoon of pickled onions, the staff literally gave me 1 (one) pickled onion! WORST service ever!

Service is the worst. The women horrendously scream in peoples face, throw the bowls and mix the food in it after they give you tiny teaspoon portions because they don't want to keep cooking fresh food for customers, the meat is all burnt which causes cancer, they try to charge you secretly hidden charges so watch out for that. They touch their nose or other parts of their body and don't use gloves... watch out.
Unfortunately, Ive gotten sick twice after eating here. I chalked the first time up to the flu or something, but the 2nd time it was exactly the same 'issues ' w/in 6 hours. Now that I know this place exists I'll be looking for one on all my east coast travels! Everything was fantastic! Variety of food and drink choices, amount of food for the money, friendly staff, flavor, and an open airy space. I really hope they continue to expand into the midwest!
The food is fantastic!! They're a little stingy with the amount of hummus etc that they give you and seem annoyed if you ask for more. Worth it for the bowls tho, I guess... Harissa chicken!!! Mmm I also like that you can order online for quicker pickup.
