I had a wonderful time! The wait staff were very accommodating and always nearby when we needed something. The food at Il Cavalino was some of the best I've had in a long time. The atmosphere and service were impeccable. I especially enjoyed the fresh Parmesan cheese and risotto prepared tableside, as well as the delicious appetizers. The shrimp in tomato sauce was amazing, and the chicken and pasta dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The homemade desserts were to die for. Il Cavallino is a fine dining Italian Ristorante. The restaurant itself is decorated like a house in an Old World town, and it sets the mood for what is on the menu. For starters, there is a plethora of salad dishes that cover all the Italian favourites: arugola, caprese and radicchio and endive salads. Il Cavallino is also known for their Wild Game Creations. Northern Italian cuisine with family charm. This is by far one of my favourite restaurants, not only for the food but also for the personalized attention by the family who own it. Mother and son do friendly hosting and waiting duties while the father is the chef, producing some delicious meals.<br/ <br/ Personal favourites including linguine marinara, rabbit and polenta and any of the veal dishes. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu!<br/ <br/ Highly recommended and great for a romantic dinner, catching up with family and friends, or for a business function.

Il Cavallino is hands down the best restaurant in Vaughan! I've been living in Woodbridge for over 25 years and I can honestly say that their quality of food has always been consistent. From the previous owner to the new owner, the service, comfort, and quality have always been top-notch. Every item on the menu is better than the next, and they still offer fresh rabbit, which is hard to find elsewhere. Thank you for the amazing dining experiences and I love the new renovations! High end Italian. This upscale family run restaurant is classic but modern. The presentation is the first thing you notice but by the end fresh ingredients stand out in every bite. The Food is a bit expensive but very much worth it.<br/ <br/ For an elegant night out I highly recommend eating at Il Cavalino.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. I first visited in 2001 and have been returning regularly ever since. Their penne alla vodka is fantastic and the service is exceptional. Despite being located in a medical center building, it's definitely worth seeking out.

Amazing!. I would go as far as saying that this is one of the best restaurants in Woodbridge, if not the BEST Italian restaurant. Their 'Pasta Fagioli ' is to die for. As is their lamb. <br/ <br/ This is a must try restaurant!
