In the middle of the afternoon, I was in search of a non-caffeinated option, and the barista suggested a decaffeinated drink that was absolutely amazing! (It’s not listed on the menu, so make sure to ask for it.) I can confidently say it's my new favorite! If I had to sum it up in one word, I would choose "decadent." The combination of vanilla and caramel was delightful, especially with the whipped cream on top, creating a wonderfully indulgent experience. Overall, the atmosphere is fantastic, the coffee is excellent, and the baristas are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place!
We consider ourselves to be courteous customers, and I even left a tip. After noticing the third person walk out with their order, I finally decided to inquire about our herbal tea and sandwich. After a 25-minute wait, what we received was a veggie egg bite instead of the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant I had ordered. I won't be returning; I hope this place can make improvements in the future! This experience was simply unacceptable.
I go to this place almost every day. The staff is welcoming, and their mochasippis are wonderful. I usually order them without extra flavors to balance the sweetness, but I always add whipped cream to soften the bitterness of the pure espresso. This CC's location is ideal for those living west of the bridge. It’s a great alternative to the expensive and calorie-heavy options at Starbucks.
As an experienced barista, I can easily tell when a great cup of coffee has been made. The cappuccino I enjoyed at CC's Coffee House in Port Allen is certainly one of the best coffee drinks I've ever tasted! I really love this restaurant! They've made great strides since my previous visits. One of my top picks is the turtle mochasippi. The staff is consistently friendly, although I do wish the service were a little quicker. Still, I appreciate that they take their time to guarantee the quality of the food, which is more important to me than speed.
