I discovered CDM on OpenTable and was drawn in by the reviews, which turned out to be accurate. My husband and I usually celebrate our anniversary at Mastro's or Ruth's Chris, but we decided to try something different this year. The ambiance was lovely, the food presentation was impressive, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning to CDM in the future.
My wife and I came to CDM to celebrate our anniversary. Three years ago at CDM I presented her engagement ring, so we had to come back for our anniversary celebration. Our server Paige was so thoughtful that at the end of the dinner she presented us with a Happy Anniversary card signed by the CMD staff members. We were touched.
Ellie our server was attentive and her suggestions were on point! The evening was made very special because of her attentive service and suggestions. We will most definitely be coming back!
The restaurant is quite small. The octopus appetizer was delicious, as were the ribs. However, the chicken piccata was lacking in lemon flavor and the pizza was just okay. Réservez une table maintenant

One of favorite restaurants in Newport Beach. Loved everything and the service was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back next time we’re in town.
