Cecconi's - Réservation de table

I regret not trying this place sooner because after dinner last night, I would say this is definitely in my top five favorite Italian restaurants in LA list. It's in a really busy and fun part of town. This part of West Hollywood is not as busy as the North end so parking isn't as bad but it's still difficult at certain times. We were able to find a metered street spot right out front, but we were just lucky with the timing. Otherwise it will be $15 for valet. I especially love how the inside is designed. The food was absolutely delicious but I removed one star because of the drinks. Drinks were delicious but they must have used really cheap tequilas that both me and my boyfriend got horrible headaches that lasted all day. We each got drink, different cocktails which were delicious but both were tequila based. My boyfriend never gets a headache so I can only attribute the headache to the drinks. It totally ruined the rest of our day

The servers are not attentive, felt like they wanted to get us out to use our table, our server came to our table at most times in the span of and a half hours. When our food was brought out, it was placed so poorly, on the edge of our table, I had to move plates away just to get my food in front of me, just all around bad service. They don’t have enough servers/ staff for the amount of reservations they accept

Came here for a birthday dinner and really enjoyed the food and received great service. I tried the calamari, the cavatelli pasta -which was delicious, the tiramisu and the Isola di Luna to drink which was also great. The ambiance is great although the tables are a little close together so it can be a bit loud. I was surprised how crowded it was late on a Monday night. Easily found street parking on Robinson. The parking right out front clearly states that the parking meter is not needed to be paid for on holidays and today being Labor Day I received a ticket for parking. Seems to be a trap to make extra money. The restaurant is in on it because they didn’t put any cones up until after I had already parked there. Be careful of these cheap money making tactics

food was excellent. I the black truffle pasta and my guest had a Kale salad with apple. The restaurant probably served between lunches with only two servers that I could identify. Service was slow and inattentive
