While the bottle selection isn’t extensive, it’s varied enough to inspire me to try something new each visit. The small plates are well-crafted and hearty enough for a meal. The flatbreads and tomato soup stand out as especially delicious, and the charcuterie and cheese boards are ideal for sharing—or keeping all to yourself!

If you want a wonderful ambiance and a great wine list head over to this amazing little place in Highwood. Cellar Gate has live music outside in the summer w/a great patio and during the winter you can sit by a fire place drinking wine and eating their great apps...it's a must try IMO.
This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing ambiance and lovely staff. The decor is both stunning and inviting, and the food is delicious. They also offer a fantastic selection of wines from around the world. I absolutely love this place!

My friends and I have been meeting here once a year for 8 years for our bookclub. The owner and staff have always been so accommodating, friendly and pleasant, I'm going to truly miss this staple in Highwood
Very elegant atmosphere. The food and wine pairing is perfect combination and the staff is incredible as well as the owner. If you are looking for class, charm, and ambience this is the place to go.
Beautiful entertainment, wine and light food for a really pleasant and full evening. Romantic or societal time cannot be equalized anywhere. Prepare for a cozy outdoor experience.
